Siren Summer Camp is a half-day retreat to learn the art of sonic surrender so the living voice can sing you. So you can more shamelessly serve your vocal medicine that this world on fire so desperately needs.
Whether you conjure songs, channel light language, sing sound journeys or are called to reclaim your voice as a living medicine, Siren Summer Camp will support you step into your expressive power.
This camp is for adults 18+ and no singing experience is needed. We will have a spacious silent lunch break. Lunch is not included so please bring your own food and snacks.

Voice doula, singing shadow worker, silly goose, song oracle, channel for the primordial Mother and playful permission giver devoted to our collective liberation.
Hi love!
I was a professional performer/singer with over a decade of vocal training when I fell out of love with singing. I realized my voice had become a commodity used to please and impress other people. Fuck. That.
I hungered for vocal work that honored my voice’s innate connection to my soul and embraced the primal sounds of my messy humanness.
I found the Primitive Voice work of Jean Rene Tousant and then the Roy Hart vocal approach while receiving my MFA at Naropa University.
It sparked my spiritual awakening and launched me into a 14+ year journey of unlearning all my vocal technique.
Years of unraveling vocal training that controlled and contorted my sound into cultural aesthetic expectations.
Countless ceremonies to awaken the primal sounds I had been conditioned to silence and fear.
And what I experienced blew my precious little ego’s mind.
The more I embraced the broken sounds I was trained to fear, the more beautiful and whole my voice became.
Suddenly, I could channel like a river flows, catch songs like lightening and the operatic heights I used to strive for sang through me with full bodied ease.
All because I stopped being the dictator of my voice and started surrendering so it could sing me.
Because I dared to express ALL PARTS of my holy human wholeness, including the dark, crunchy, and broken bitty bits.
Because I defied the cultural conditioning that said my voice had to be pretty and pleasing for others by singing for no one’s pleasure but my own.
True Story!
I did a ritual theater prayerformance as the SHAMELESS SIREN outside along a creek.
I LITERALLY summoned two young men to the creek side who sang back and LITERALLY asked for more.
When I gave it to them they LITERALLY said, “THANK YOU!”

But it’s also a FULL ON WITCH who LOVES to make art and alchemize your grief, rage and aliveness by singing the feral sounds of your holy humanity.
So in this half day retreat, we’re gonna giggle AND go deep.
Through embodied play, we will:
*Shake off self-judgement and shame like it ain’t no thang.
*Rewire neural pathways of radical permission till we have zero fucks to give.
*Have so much fun making the gutteral sounds that used to make us cringe.
*Unleash your primal expression by gently expanding your capacity to voice the emotional intensities that usually become a lump in your throat. One small tolerable and playful step at a time

Real talk…
That story you were told about your voice being “too much and too loud” was really about your voice being too powerful for the oppressive systems who want you palatable.
Our ancestors knew the healing and disruptive force of our primal sounds.
So did the systems of power.
That’s why cultural conditioning trained us out of our radical range and into being exclusively pretty and palatable.
We were trained to fear the cracked, chorded + feral sounds that are vital to our humanity, and essential for our (r)evolution.
But when we unlearn the techniques of power over our voice, and start to reclaim our ungovernable sounds...
We tap into the alchemically healing and disruptive force that is the wholly human voice.
We give voice to the collective grief so it can be a catalyst for change.
We honor our rightful rage and help it flow into right action.
We uplift the parts of our holy humanity that have been systematically shamed and exiled.
And in the process we facilitate RADICAL HEALING within ourselves and in everyone who hears our Siren song.
